Colour Matching:

The Art of Colour Matching:

Odd as it seems, but light determines how the paint colours appear to the eye. As light changes during the day so does the colour.

The type of paint used, for example a matt or a sheen also affects how the light interact with the painted surface. The matt finish will absorb the light, hiding slight imperfections in the plaster. Paint that has a Sheen finish will reflect light more and as a result, plaster imperfections will show up easier.

Due to paint pigments fading overtime, that perfect shade of Grey you painted your lounge is most likely a few shades lighter a few years later. If you have the details of the paint, using the exact same colour for touch-ups would not work as the fresh paint would be darker.

Here our wizards do their thing. Bring a sample of the existing colour you require, and the wizards will use the age-old technique of eye -matching the colour.

What sorcery takes place in the colour matching department is a trade secret not to be splashed all over the internet.

Rest assured, our guys will do their utmost to match that colour for you.

The founding member of the company was a Master Colour Matcher with decades of experience. This expertise has been passed on and the last twenty years we have mixed well over hundreds of thousands of colours.

Please note the following: The colour you choose can differ in various places within your home due to the amount of light there is available during the day.

Therefore it is best practice prior to making a decision to stick the colour swatch against the wall and observe the effect, different lighting conditions have on the colour. In some instances it might appear darker or lighter.
